
How much weight do you think it is safe to lose weekly on a long-term diet?
To avoid saggy skin etc....I saw a programme on tv recently where a woman had lost so much weight (after an operation) that her breasts were like hanging sacks - she could tuck them into her pyjamas and her stomach was hanging flab. It was so unsightly, but she was very diginified and had operations to correct her body shape. I admired her courage.
Anyway, in order for this NOT to happen, what do you think is the optimum amount of weight one should aim to lose per week? Also, exercise is important etc., as well, but thoughts welcome.
Around 1-3lbs.
